Craniosacral for the Newborn

Newborns benefit profoundly from craniosacral therapy because of the intense pressures on the cranium and body dramatic passage through the birth process. Craniosacral bodywork for infants in the early postpartum period can prevent numerous breastfeeding challenges by enhancing their tongue thrust, sucking reflex and latch. Babies born by cesarean or instrument delivery are especially in need of craniosacral therapy to ease the unnatural forces that their bodies experienced in birth.
Parents may notice an immediate change n behavior or it may occur over time, depending upon the amount of shifting your newborn is doing or needs to do. Many times one treatment is enough, some babies may require several treatments.
Issues that can be treated:
* Breastfeeding Complications
* Colic
* Babies diagnosed with GastroEsophageal Reflux disorder (GERD)
* Torticollis
* Moderate to severe head moulding
* Twins and Breech Babies
* Sensitive or scared babies
* Hypertoned Babies
* Birth Trauma
At this time we are hoping to see less headaches, immune disorders, jaw and neck problems, digestive problems and perhaps much more in adults who received craniosacral treatment as babies.
